Gaming collaborations aren't uncommon in Fortnite, with Epic Games having partnered with a number of studios over the years to bring iconic characters to the battle royale. We've seen Santa Monica Studio's Kratos, Capcom's Leon S. Kennedy and CD Projekt RED's Geralt from The Witcher.
Update 22 June: Epic Games has announced that Ciri and Yennefer of Vengerberg arrive in Fortnite tomorrow, June 23, at 7 AM ET.
For the latter, a new set of skins are set to arrive in the Item Shop: Yennefer of Vengerberg and Ciri. According to leaks, both skins will be based on the game characters rather than other iterations and the two will be joining Fortnite's Gaming Legends Series. Despite the new expanded collaboration having yet to be announced by either Epic Games or CD Projekt RED, known Fortnite leakers have given us our first glimpse at the two skins.
Fortnite leaker Shiina posted images of the two skins in-game via Twitter. The images show both characters as they will likely appear in the Item Shop. Our first look at the two character skins can be seen below.
When Are Ciri And Yennefer Coming To Fortnite?
Epic Games has revealed that both Ciri and Yennefer of Vengerberg will be arriving in the Fortnite Item Shop on June 23, at 7 AM ET.
A new The Witcher themed Glider is also set to arrive in the Item Shop, named Basilisk. It's unclear whether this will only be available to purchase separately or part of a bundle featuring the new skins. Players can likely expect a return of Geralt to the Item Shop as part of the new collaboration.
