Epic Games could be gearing up for yet another gaming collaboration in Fortnite. According to some recent leaks, a new skin could be on the way themed around Elder Scrolls Online. The MMORPG launched its latest chapter expansion, Necrom, in June across PC and console, so the timing for a potential Fortnite collaboration is still on point.
Surprisingly, Epic Games has not collaborated with Bethesda for an Elder Scrolls cosmetic in the past — not even a Dovahkiin/Skyrim skin, though many had been hoping to see one. But, it seems that's all set to change should this suspected collaboration emerge.
Update 21 July: The Elder Scrolls Online x Fortnite collaboration is now available in Fortnite's in-game Item Shop.
Is Fortnite Getting An Elder Scrolls Online Skin?
According to known Fortnite leaker Shiina, a "Berserker Outfit" has been encrypted which, for data miners, is a sign that a skin is on its way to the in-game. Shiina also claimed that this is for a collaboration with Elder Scrolls Online. In addition to an Outfit, dataminer iFireMonkey has also revealed that a themed weapon skin and Pickaxe will be arriving as part of the collaboration, encrypted as "Folk Evening."
At the time of writing, neither Bethesda or Epic Games has confirmed the crossover. The addition of the skin was also absent from the recent v25.11 Fortnite update. This doesn't mean the skin isn't legitimate, but that it could arrive in a future update.
Epic Games is known for its frequent collaborations, most famously in Fortnite. In the past, the game has added to its series of Gaming Legends skins and cosmetics. The most recent additions to this series were Ciri and Yennefer of Vengerberg from The Witcher video game series. Players have also been able to get their hands on other iconic characters, including: God of War's Kratos, Halo's Master Chief, Resident Evil's Jill Valentine & Leon S. Kennedy, and more.
