A Doctor Who Fortnite crossover is reportedly coming later this year, according to a known Fortnite leaker.
iFireMonkey claims that the crossover was supposed to happen earlier but has been delayed to December/January. The reason for the delay is reportedly due to a Lego collaboration happening in November of this year, which is when the Doctor Who crossover was planned due to the 60th-anniversary celebrations of the series. It's likely that December has been chosen as the date for the crossover due to the fact that Ncuti Gatwa's first appearance will be in a Christmas special later this year.
The leaker also claims that a mini battle pass will be part of the event, allowing players to unlock more items related directly to the show, similar to the Star Wars mini battle pass from earlier this year that allowed players to unlock a Darth Maul skin.
Doctor Who has been crossing over with several properties in the lead-up to the 60th anniversary, with the popular British TV series featuring in a new Magic The Gathering set later this year, and the show receiving Fall Guys skins recently. It's unclear exactly what would be included in a Doctor Who Fortnite crossover other than skins, and whether a player would be able to fly the iconic TARDIS within the game.
