However, this isn't the first Fortnite crossover with Star Wars. In 2021, Fortnite collaborated with Star Wars during a special limited-time event to coincide with the release of "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker." Players could wield lightsabers, participate in a special mode, and even purchase skins based on characters from the films.
Apart from this, Fortnite collaborated with the popular Disney+ series, The Mandalorian, in December 2020, bringing the show's main character, the bounty hunter, into the game as a skin. Additionally, the beloved character of Grogu, a cute alien child, was added as a pet that hovers behind the player in a stroller.
The exact details of the latest Star Wars collaboration are unknown, but the Anakin Skywalker skin is expected to be a key feature. Players should expect to pay 1600 V-Bucks for the Anakin skin, with a bundle of all Anakin's cosmetics expected to be available for around 2500 V-Bucks.
The Anakin Skywalker outfit and other Star Wars-themed items will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop on May 2nd. Players can purchase the items using V-Bucks, the in-game currency, and show off their love for both Fortnite and Star Wars in the battle royale arena.
