ESO Necrom: Sharp-As-Night Companion Location & Quest Guide

The Telvanni Peninsula is one of the new zones added in The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO): Necrom chapter for players to explore. This stunning location has beautiful vistas, unique biomes, and interesting characters, which Sharp-As-Night is one to meet.

This new companion may not seem friendly initially; however, you can add him as a companion to gain favor and possibly a new ally. This guide explores where to find Sharp-As-Night and how to complete his companion quest in ESO: Necrom.

Where To Find Sharp-As-Night In ESO: Necrom?

Along with Azandar Al-Cybiades, Sharp-As-Night is one of two new companions in the ESO: Necrom chapter. The Argonian Warden can too be recruited as your companion and, luckily for players, shouldn’t be too difficult to locate. He’s not considered to be approachable, so proceed with caution.

Nevertheless, Sharp-As-Night can be found on the Telvanni Peninsula, and unlike Azandar, you won’t be required to find portals to seek him out. Once you’ve discovered Necrom City, find the entrance and head left, where you can see this stoic character, having just dispatched some dangerous mercenaries, near a tree once you’ve crossed a bridge.

You’ll need to speak with the character to trigger his companion quest, “The Double Edge,” and begin progressing through it. You’ll need to complete his companion quest before having the ability to unlock him and recruit him as your next companion.

How To Complete Sharp-As-Night’s The Double Edge Quest In ESO: Necrom?

After finding Sharp-As-Night by the Necrom City entrance, chat with him to gain his companion quest. You’ll need to complete every objective before unlocking the character, which we’ve listed below, to complete Sharp-As-Night’s companion quest, “The Double Edge,” in the ESO: Necrom chapter:

• Talk to Harn Orenvi (found inside the Necrom Outlaws Refuge)
• Deliver flowers to Menredius Cortin (found atop the steps right to the fountain)
• Deliver flowers to Brelynn Ardas (found inside the Necrom handicrafts building)
• Talk to Harn Orenvi (found inside the Mourner's Solace Inn)
• Go to Deredrien's Place (found at the Palace View Apartments)

• Meet Sharp-As-Night near Reynila's campsite (found near the Fungal Lowlands Wayshrine)
  • Talk to Sharp-As-Night
• Search Reynila's campsite
• Follow the trail

• Find Mevei Andros in Ald Isra
• Meet Sharp at Gorne
• Find Reynila (found at Smuggler's Hideout)
• Defeat the Mercenaries
• Follow Reynila (found inside Smuggler's Cove)
  • Talk to Dimik-Ei
  • Talk to Sharp-As-Night

Once you’ve completed the last objective, don’t forget to return to Sharp-As-Night to complete the quest and add him as a companion. This not only unlocks him as a companion for which you can summon him to travel alongside you, but you'll be awarded handsomely with Gold.

You will need to progress with Sharp-As-Night's companion questline but to achieve this; you'll need to increase your rapport with him. This can be done by earning favor with him to increase your companion XP by doing specific tasks he will approve of.

These tasks include doing his companion quest, participating in the Ashlander Hunt Dailies, utilizing the Heavy Sack item, and traveling to Blackwood, Hew’s Bane, and Shadowfen. This increases your rapport which grants you access to his companion quests, as completing them all unlocks the Necrom Achievement, Sharp’s Companion.'
