New and returning players are making their way back to Tamriel as the latest game update was released this month for Mac and PC via the Epic Games Store and Steam. Sadly, PlayStation and Xbox players must wait two more weeks for the update's availability, but there's an abundance of amazing new gameplay content and features to look forward to and enjoy.
One of the new gameplay additions is two new Companions awaiting their invitation to join your party, but how can they be acquired? We have the scoop for our fellow players as here's how they can exactly get Tanlorin and Zerith-var in ESO's Update 44.
How To Get The Tanlorin And Zerith-var Companions In The Elder Scrolls Online's Update 44?
The latest and free content update for ZeniMax Online Studios' The Elder Scrolls Online has arrived to PC and Mac systems on 28th October 2024. The update adds a bevy of new gameplay content and features like item sets, new Skill Styles, homes and furnishings, and the much-anticipated revamp to the Battlegrounds mode.
Additionally, there are new adjustments, optimizations, and bug fixes, which the patch notes have been provided, and two new Companions are awaiting players to join their party. Tanlorin and Zerith-var are the new Companions available to acquire, traditionally done by locating them somewhere in Tamriel, completing their questline to make them available, and inviting them to join players on their perilous adventures across the continent.
However, this isn't the case with Update 44, as these Companions can be acquired in one of two ways: the first way is that they are available for free to all players with an ESO Plus membership, which they can take advantage of the increase to Alliance Points and Tel Var Stones arriving with this update. Another way to obtain these Companions is to use the in-game currency, Crowns, and navigate to the Crown Store before loading into the game where they can buy either Tanlorin or Zerith-var... maybe both!
If neither or both Companions are not appearing in the Crown Store, ensure that the game is updated via the Launcher or from their Library before signing back into the game, and if this doesn't work, submit a support ticket to the ESO Support team. PlayStation and Xbox players won't wait much longer as they can anticipate battling it out with friends in the revamped Battlegrounds mode with two new maps, browse through the new homes, and invite a Companion to their party when ESO Update 44 launches on 13th November 2024 so make a date, and we'll see you there!
