Developer ZeniMax Online Studios continues the festivities in-game and in-person as its 10th Anniversary Celebration enters a new month. With forthcoming appearances at QuakeCon and Gamescom this month, their first anniversary promotion has been unveiled, and they'll be teaming up with Alienware for the latest reward offerings.
This was announced in a developer blog in which players have a limited time to clock cumulative game time hours to earn a new costume once they've linked their Alienware and Steam accounts. This guide explains how to link required accounts and get the Grim Harvester costume for free in The Elder Scrolls Online.
How To Get The Grim Harvester Costume In The Elder Scrolls Online?
Continuing with their 10th Anniversary celebrations this August, developer ZeniMax Online Studios announced another spotlight reward for players to claim. This new reward is brought together with the developer and their partner Alienware, for which they can get the Grim Harvester costume by meeting specific in-game requirements.
Players must meet the requirements detailed in their latest developer post, including "collectively playing" 70,000 hours of ESO between its starting date of 5th August 2024 and 12th August 2024. Additionally, they must sign or create an Alienware account before syncing it to their Steam account to be eligible to claim this steely costume.
Below, we've detailed how players can link their Alienware and Steam accounts to be able to get this reward for free:
- First create or log into their Alienware account and navigate to the Account Settings page/tab
- Click the Steam icon before logging into their Steam account
- Head to their Profile tab, select "Edit Profile," and locate the "Privacy Settings"
- Under these settings, they must toggle the "My Basic Details," "My Profile," and "Game Details" settings to Public and also uncheck the "Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details" box to complete
Once they've synced their Alienware and Steam accounts and toggled the required settings, the Alienware Arena will keep track of their "cumulative playtime" until they hit their target of 70,000 hours. Should the ESO community reach this milestone, all players eligible for this reward will be able to collect the reward, for which they can redeem their Reward Code using the following steps:
- Locate the Alienware email within their Inbox (or Spam folder) and copy the reward Redeem Code
- Visit the ESO Redeem Code page and paste the code in the box provided
- Click the "Redeem Code" button and log into the game to claim the reward
Additionally, players will also receive three Grand Gold Coast Experience Scrolls with the Grim Harvester costume for "collectively playing 70,000 hours of ESO." Lastly, another Anniversary Spotlight reward is available until 3rd September 2024, when they can claim the Flame Atronach Pony Guar and Firebelly Shalk pets for free by meeting the specified requirements.
