Elder Scrolls Online Free On Epic Game Store For Limited Time: How To Claim

In celebration of The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) coming to Epic Games Store, Bethesda and ZeniMax Online have announced that the MMORPG will be available to claim for free — but only for a limited time. 

If you've been on the fence about picking up ESO, now is the perfect time to jump in. Not only is the game free to purchase through this offer, but it's also free to play. While the game does feature an optional subscription service called ESO Plus, the majority of the game's content bar DLCs can be freely enjoyed without it. 

This version of ESO includes access to five of the game’s classes: Warden, Sorcerer, Nightblade, Templar, and Dragonknight. In addition, players will be able to adventure through 24 unique zones, and enjoy both the Battlegrounds and Alliance War PvP game modes. Players who pick up ESO via the Epic Games Store will also unlock the Sigil of the Alliance War Back Bling to be used in Fortnite.

In further celebrations, a brand new in-game bundle as been made available in Fortnite titled the Heroes of Tamriel. The bundle features a variety of cosmetics including Outfit, Pickaxe, and Weapon Wrap. Players will have until Wednesday, August 5 to purchase these items in Fortnite.

How To Get Elder Scrolls Online For Free Via Epic Games Store

Elder Scrolls Online is available to claim for free via the Epic Game Store from July 20 until July 27, at 11 a.m. EDT. To claim ESO, head to the Epic Games Store, log in  or create your Epic Games account. After this, visit the "Free Games" section on the storefront and look for The Elder Scrolls Online. Select “Free Now” then finally the blue “Get” button to add the game to your library. You'll then be able to download ESO and play it on your system.
