How To Find Camel Calf In Conan Exiles?
The Camel may be the most widely popular and valuable animal to acquire as it can support loads when venturing into the expansive world. As they come with Inventory slots, this can assist you should you become over-encumbered, especially during farming runs, as you can offload resources on the Camel.
As you’ll need a Camel Calf before raising it into a fully grown Camel, finding the calf is perhaps the most accessible as you won’t have to track down their spawning locations. You’ll need to find a specific Merchant NPC on the Isle of Siptah and The Exiled Lands, and you can purchase a Camel Calf.
On the Isle of Siptah, travel to the Camp of the Castaways (I13) and The Den (E8) on The Exiled Lands to find the Merchant Urik Master Tamer. Interacting with this NPC Merchant, located near the elevated bridge at The Den, will allow you to buy a Camel Calf for 10 Gold Coin.
From your Inventory, you can place the Camel Calf inside a crafted Animal Pen, which its blueprint can be obtained after learning the Apprentice Tamer Knowledge. Using the knowledge gained from this skill, you will get various food recipes and other craftable blueprints, including the Feed Box.
With the Animal Pen and the Feed Box crafted and placed down, you can add the Camel Calf to the pen, but to tame the calf, you’ll also need to feed it. Having learned the abovementioned Knowledge, you have access to the Shadespiced food; however, only one Shadespiced food item can be provided to the calf.
Therefore, you’ll need to cook the Shadespiced Plant Fiber using 100 Plant Fibers and one Shadebloom Flower. This will grant you plenty of experience once the calf has been tamed into an adult Camel for which you can utilize its Inventory slots; however, as it’s a pet, it cannot be mounted.
