In a freshly noticed LinkedIn post, Ubisoft appears to reveal that they're planning on releasing Assassin's Creed Codename Red in 2024.
The post was noticed by Across The Animus but has now been edited. However, the original translated text reads:
"We are seeking sponsoring partner for this title Assassin's Creed Codename RED for next year."
In the same post, Ubisoft Business Development and Brand Partnership Executive Arisa Lagunzad also stated that the company is looking for a Japanese partner to work on 'the biggest blockbuster of 2024.'
This lines up with a report from Insider Gaming which states:
"Sources suggest that the series will be going back to its annual release cycle, with major entries being significantly different from the last... Although tentative release dates, sources revealed that Codename Red is scheduled for 2024, Assasin's Creed Invictus for 2025, and Assassin's Creed Hexe for 2026."
Ubisoft announced several new Assassin's Creed games in September of last year, with titles seemingly set in Feudal Japan, the Roman Empire, and during the Salem Witch Trials.
