The hype of Apex Legends Arenas mode has reached new heights. Will EA bring ranked gameplay to it?
Apex Legends Season 9 Legacy update will be releasing soon, and one of the most exciting additions in the latest update is the new Arenas mode. It is a new 3v3 permanent mode in which two teams can fight against each other in multiple rounds, and the goal is to eliminate the opponents to conquer the round.
Arenas mode offers similar gameplay as that of Valorant and CS:GO and is expected to get quite popular among players. Considering this, a question might arise in everyone's mind that whether Arenas will get a ranked mode, and here is the answer to it.

The director of Apex Legends, Chad Grenier, recently revealed that Arenas' ranked mode will be released in a future update however a release date or period has not been announced yet. In addition to this, EA has quoted on the official blog that they will continue to add more features like a ranked mode in future updates.
Players will be able to play Arenas mode after the release of Apex Legends Season 9 Legacy update on 4th May at 10 am PDT / 1 pm EDT / 6 pm BST.
Before jumping into a round, players will have to choose their loadouts using the materials earned during the last round. In order to win the game, you will have to win a minimum of three rounds and be ahead of the opponent's team by two points. In case of a tie, there will be two tiebreakers before a sudden death round.
As of now, Arenas Mode will be available to play on two custom build maps called Party Crasher and Phase Runner and three more based on areas of the battle royale map.

So while we have no ranked mode yet, it is clear from the work put in that this isn't no limited-time mode and will continue to be supported long into the future.
