Apex Legends x Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Event Explained
In the trailer, Crypto was seen wielding Cloud's iconic Buster Sword, even performing what looks like a Limit Break. As it turns out, the Final Fantasy VII Takeover will replace the unranked Battle Royale mode, where players will be able to wield the Buster Sword for themselves. Players will be able to dash, block bullets, and utilize the Limit Break.
Materia Hop-Ups will be turning the tide of battle, providing players with new in-game effects from AOE lightning, HP Absorption, and a SOLDIER Nessie to help fight alongside you.
Players will be able to hop into the collaboration from January 9, with the event set to stick around for three weeks.
