Apex Legends has a strong roster of characters for players to learn and utilise in Battle Royale matches, but how does Respawn keep things interesting without just expanding the roster continuosly. Well, in past seasons, we've seen certain Legends undergo a bit of a rework, shaking up their kit and breathing a bit of new life into the meta.
In the game's latest season, Apex Legends: From the Rift, Lifeline is the latest Legend to be given an adjustment. The hardy medic has been converted into a "frontline menace," with new aggressive abilities that make her a force to be reckoned with and now dubbed "Lifeline Revived."
All New Lifeline Revived Abilities in Apex Legends: From the Rift
Lifeline's new kit adds in the ability to teleport D.O.C. to allies, a new glide to extend her mobility, and a special healing system that ramps up the healing speed of Health and Shield consumables:
Passive: Combat Glide
- Hold JUMP mid-air to use to D.O.C. to briefly glide.
- Deploy D.O.C. to revive teammates, leaving Lifeline free to defend.
Tactical: D.O.C. Heal Drone
- D.O.C. heals nearby allies. D.O.C. can be assigned to follow allies once deployed.
Ultimate: D.O.C. Halo
- Throw D.O.C. to activate Halo Shield System. All players inside use Health & Shield consumables faster.
Lifeline also has some new upgrades to level up this season:
From the Rift: Level 2
- Battpack: +1 Battery per stack, see Battery Count in Death Boxes.
- Extended Flight: Increase time before D.O.C. runs out of fuel by 1.5s.
From the Rift: Level 3

- Tactical Cooldown+: Reduce Tac cooldown by 10s.
