Apex Legends Mobile global release date, trailer and new legend

Every Apex Legends fan who also happens to like mobile gaming is in for a treat with Apex Legends Mobile Season 1's global launch. Following beta tests in 2021 and some delays, Apex Legends Mobile had a limited, regional "soft launch" state and now, those on Android and iOS devices can finally mark their calendars.

The developers have announced the official global release date for Apex Legends Mobile, alongside an exciting launch trailer that might very well tease a new, mobile-exclusive legend.

Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 global release date & time

With the Apex Legends Mobile Soft Launch period closed (available in 10 countries) and the progress of participants wiped, EA is gearing up for the full, global launch of Apex Legends Mobile Season 1.

We are happy to report the official Apex Legends Mobile Season 1 global release date as 17th May 2022.

At the time of writing, the only detail not available right now is the global release launch time for Apex Legends Mobile. We will endeavour to keep our readers up-to-date and share the launch time as soon as it becomes available.

Apex Legends Mobile launch trailer and new legend tease

Celebrating the global launch of Apex Legends Mobile Season 1, the developers have released a new trailer.

While we've already expected content such as various maps and different game modes, including battle royale, 3v3 arena and ranked play, one thing we didn't expect is a possible new, mobile-exclusive legend for Apex Legends Mobile Season 1's global launch.

The launch trailer, however, does point towards a brand-new legend! At the end of the trailer, you can see Blisk watching some Apex Games at a bar.

On the TV at the bar, an announcement mentions that Mirage has some "new competition in the next match". 

Panning in for a better view of the TV, we can see a new character featured in a fire-themed graphic. As you can see from the image above, there's also a line that reads "New challenger climbing the ranks".  

Blisk finishes things off by saying "show me what you got". 

At the time of writing, no additional information about a possible mobile-exclusive legend for Apex Legends has been revealed. Since this is part of the game's Season 1 global launch trailer, however, we expect the developers to reveal more very soon.
