Apex Legends Mobile soft launch - All countries and end date

Following beta tests in 2021 and some delays, Apex Legends Mobile is finally in its limited, regional "soft launch" state. With the developers continuing to test features and game systems on mobile devices, there's finally some very concrete, fantastic progress being made by the looks of things. This Apex Legends Mobile soft launch means the game is only available in certain countries. 

In this article, we provide you with a list of all countries the game is available in right now via the Apple App Store and Google PlayStore, and when we expect the soft launch period will end.

Apex Legends Mobile available in 10 countries

Let's just pull off the bandaid right now, Apex Legends Mobile during its soft launch period is only available in the countries as listed below.

• New Zealand
• Singapore
• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Indonesia
• Mexico
• Peru
• Argentina
• Colombia

This means that if you head to the game's official PlayStore page, for example, you won't be able to download the game while in the US, UK and more.

Some gamers can and will, however, download the game's APK and OBB files on Android to install it outside the regional restrictions, and possibly use a VPN to play.

In a recent post, the developer talks about the limited regional Apex Legends Mobile's soft launch and testing: "Starting today, we will begin our limited regional launch where we will focus on testing our matchmaking and progression systems, backend infrastructure and in-game commerce, as well as our regional live operations capabilities.

"We’re excited to receive valuable player feedback on the Ranked experience, the different game modes, Legend progression, monetization features, and more. These milestones and player feedback are important parts of the development process."

When does the Apex Legends Mobile soft launch end?

At the time of writing, no official worldwide launch date for Apex Legends Mobile has been revealed. There might, however, be an indication of when the soft launch period will end and when the game will fully launch.

This is thanks to the recent post by the developers noted in the previous section of this article, which states: "Players who are participating in the limited regional launch can access the Store until May 3rd. Account progress and unlocked items earned during the limited regional launch period will be reset prior to game launch."

We, therefore, expect Apex Legends Mobile's soft launch period to come to an end on 3rd May 2022, and the game to become available worldwide shortly after. This is just an educated guess, however, so don't take it as a concrete, confirmed fact.
