It’s the halfway point of another Apex Legends season, which means a couple of things to veterans of the game. The first is a new Collection Event starting up as The Warrior’s Collection Event recently arrived, introducing new cosmetics, a next-gen upgrade for consoles, a new Arenas map, and the return of Control, amongst other content. However, to many players, the most exciting piece of content that arrives with the Collection Events are the Heirlooms.
Each Collection Event introduces a new Heirloom for a certain legend. This time around, the Heirloom is for Crypto. The Heirloom is named the Biwon Blade, and the early looks are incredible. Naturally, Crypto mains and Heirloom collectors want the Biwon Blade for themselves. The process to acquire an Heirloom in Apex Legends hasn’t changed for quite some time and it’s not changed in regards to Crypto. If you're in need of a quick refresh, find out how to acquire the Biwon Blade Heirloom below.
Getting Crypto’s Heirloom in Apex Legends
There are two main ways to acquire an Heirloom in Apex Legends. The first is through the Collection Event cosmetics. Each time an event goes live, there are a set number of limited-time cosmetics that are available for players to purchase.

While the Heirloom isn’t contained in one of these packs, players can still acquire it by purchasing them. The way Respawn Entertainment has it set up is you need to purchase 24 event packs to automatically unlock the event’s specific Heirloom. Each pack costs 700 Apex Coins each; you can buy a 10-pack of them for 7,000 Apex Coins as well.
So, if you’re doing the match, you need to spend $160 worth of Apex Coins to open 24 Warrior’s Collection Event packs. Every 1,000 Apex Coins costs $10, so you’re spending $140 on two 10-packs and $20 on the two final packs.
After opening 24 packs, you’ll be rewarded with Crypto’s Biwon Blade. This is different from the standard way of acquiring an Heirloom, which is simply by opening Apex Packs. After 500 total Apex Packs opened, you're guaranteed to receive a set of Heirloom Shards that you can use to acquire any Heirloom in Apex Legends.
While you can receive Heirloom Shards before 500 total packs, it’s exceedingly rare. So if you’re a Crypto main and truly want their Biwon Blade Heirloom, it might be worth it to spend the $160 instead of hoping you receive Heirloom Shards randomly.
