The ALGS 2022 Championship is the culmination of the best Apex Legends teams throughout the year. It features a $2 million prize pool and will be the first Apex event with a live audience since 2019.
The path to the Apex Legends Global Series Championship is long and challenging. Teams go through a year-long battle in various qualifying tournaments to reach the Championship stage. However, only the top 40 teams worldwide make it to this grand stage.

ALGS 2022 Championship - How to watch and stream
The ALGS 2022 Championship will broadcast live games on its official Twitch channel. We have embedded the stream for your convenience below. You can also watch the games on their YouTube channel.
ALGS Championship 2022 Schedule and format
The ALGS Championship will run from 7th-10th July 2022, with the Group Stage taking place on 7th July. The Bracket Stage will last from 8th-9th July. In the end, the Finals will start on 10th July.

The ALGS Championship has three tournament phases: the Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and Finals.
Group Stage
Four even groups of ten teams will compete in the Group Stage. Each group will play the other in a six-game series for 18 games. The qualification to the Bracket Stage has the following conditions:

Ten teams with the highest Group Stage Score start in the Winner's Bracket Round 2

Twenty teams with the next highest Group Stage Score start in the Winner's Bracket Round 1

Ten teams with the lowest Group Stage Score start in the Loser's Bracket Round 1
Bracket Stage
The Bracket Stage will feature two eight-game series in the Winner's Bracket and two eight-game series in the Loser's Bracket. The terms for advancing to the Finals are as follows:
- Winner's Bracket Round 1: The top ten teams will advance to the Finals. The remaining teams from this round will fall to the Loser's Bracket Round 1.
- Loser's Bracket Round 1: The top ten teams will advance to the Loser's Bracket Round 2. The remaining teams from this round are eliminated from the championship.
- Loser's Bracket Round 2: The top ten teams will advance to the Finals. The remaining teams from this round are eliminated from the championship.
Finals
The 20 remaining teams will compete using the Match Point format in the ALGS Championship Finals. The ten teams qualifying from the Winner's Bracket will be seeded according to their placement. This means they will start the Finals with Advance Starting Points. The placement rules are as follows:
- There is no match limit in the Finals
- Once a Team reaches the minimum total points of 50 in the Finals, The next match becomes "Match Point Eligible" for that team.
- The first team to win a match after they are "Match Point Eligible" is declared the winner.
- After the winner is declared, teams placing 2nd-20th are ranked by total Finals points.
- There is no limit to the number of teams who can be "Match Point Eligible."

The ALGS 2022 Championship will be an offline event at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. The venue is a 700,000-square-foot space and can accommodate thousands of fans.
