Call of Duty players air their thoughts on the Modern Warfare reveal

Last night, July 11, Infinity Ward showcased their upcoming effort Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in the first ever gameplay reveal of the title, with four of the biggest personalities from Call of Duty facing off in a 2v2 in new mode Gunfight.

Professional Call of Duty players and personalities took to Twitter to air their thoughts on the small offering we got to see.

Patrick “Aches” Price likes the seemingly slower and more methodical approach Infinity Ward seems to be aiming for with Modern Warfare. That said, he had some gripes with what he saw too.

Though the healing issue turns out not to be an issue, Chris “Parasite” Duarte wasn’t completely impressed with what was shown.

Josiah “Slacked” Berry had few words.

Adam “Killa” Sloss is definitely impressed with what he saw and will surely be looking to add another notch to his World Championship count next year, with Call of Duty’s first franchised league.

Ian “Crimsix” Porter is only interested in the potential plagiarism of a certain map from CS:GO.

Sam “Octane” Larew made his decision seven minutes into the livestream.

100 Thieves founder and CEO Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag doesn’t seem particularly impressed, but reserves judgement.

It’s still early days, and with the full multiplayer reveal being aired on August 1, we’ve only got to wait a couple more weeks before seeing more of the actual multiplayer experience – not just Gunfight.
