How To Get To Sky Islands In The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
From what we have seen in gameplay trailers, it seems like there are multiple ways for players to reach sky islands in Tears of the Kingdom. For example, players will have a new power in the game called Recall. Recall gives you the ability to make certain objects reverse into their original position. The gameplay trailer showed that players can send large boulders back into the sky, so you would need to climb on them, and use recall to reach the sky islands.
Another way that players can get on sky islands is through another ability called the Ultrahand. The Ultrahand allows players to build contraptions for a multitude of uses. We have seen through the trailer that players can fuse items together to build a contraption that will lift them up and reach sky islands.
Other Ways To Reach Sky Islands In Tears Of The Kingdom
From the few trailers that we have seen so far for Tears of the Kingdom, it looks like there are plenty of different ways players can travel to sky islands. One example is that there are jump pads that seem to launch Link extremely high up. The pads can potentially lead players up to sky islands.
Another way to reach sky islands is special items that are scattered throughout the game. One of the items that could bring Link to a sky island is what looks like a small rocket that he holds on to. There are also likely some story developments that will likely land players on sky islands. All that we know is that sky islands are likely to be very accessible throughout the game.
