How To Swap Heart And Stamina Upgrades In Tears Of The Kingdom
In Tears of the Kingdom, it costs four Light of Blessing from Shrines to upgrade either your hearts or stamina. If you choose the wrong one by accident, you can actually change them for a small price. To swap hearts and stamina upgrades, you will need to beat your first major dungeon from the Regional Phenomena main questline.
Once you do that, you will need to go to Lookout Landing and go to the underground bunker at the center of town. From there, a hole will be opened in the wall. Go into the small hole and break the rocks down on the right side. Once you are all the way through, you will meet the Horned Statue and be able to respec your hearts and stamina.
How Does The Horned Statue Work In Tears Of The Kingdom?
The Horned Statue is an interesting mechanic in Tears of the Kingdom. When you talk to the Horned Statue, you can give it either a heart or stamina upgrade and it will give you 100 rupees in return. From there, you can actually ask for it back, but it will cost you some rupees to do so.
The statue will return the upgrade to you, but you will have to pay 120 rupees to do so. Since the statue gave you the initial 100 rupees, you will actually only spend 20 rupees to get your upgrade back. When asking for your upgrade back, it will return it to you either as a heart upgrade or a stamina upgrade, your choice. So you can give the Horned Statue a stamina upgrade and recieve a heart upgrade in return.
