Beginning their venture into backwards compatibility in 2015, Microsoft continues to push on in an attempt to unify their consoles past and present. Although three new consoles have been released since 2015, Xbox refuses to move in only one direction.
Today marks a massive achievement in the field of backwards compatibility, as a new platform is being introduced. Just launched, new and existing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will have access to up to 16 original Xbox and Xbox 360 on android phones and tablets. More have been announced as in the works.
