WWE 2K24 MyGM is packed with new features this year, but the introduction of scouting has absolutely changed the game when it comes to procuring free agents. Gone are the days of a fully randomized pool, as players can now use Talent Scouts to go hunting for exactly the kind of superstar your roster needs. We've got everything you need to know in this WWE 2K24 scouting guide to help you sign the best talents in MyGM.

How to Use Talent Scouts in WWE 2K24 MyGM
When each WWE 2K24 MyGM week begins, you'll default to 5 Talent Scouts that can be used in search of free agents to sign. Four low-level Local stars will automatically be available to sign each week, but you'll need to use Talent Scouts and money from your budget to search for higher level superstars.
If you're seeking a specific class, role, or gender to fill a gap in your roster that wasn't addressed during the MyGM Draft, make use of those fields when searching. Promo Skill is less critical, but if you have the Talent Scouts available then ensuring a 4-5 Promo Skill is never a bad thing.
For specific searches of the most powerful stars, you'll need more than the standard 5 Talent Scouts. You can get more Talent Scouts in a given week with specific Power Cards, but opponents can also use Power Cards against you to wipe out your Talent Scouts for the week or make this entire process more expensive.
How to Sign Free Agents in MyGM
Once you've found talents that are worth signing, you need to decide the length of the contract you'll offer. If you have the budget to safely sign them until the end of the season, that's almost always the best choice. However, players with a Power Card to extend contracts should keep that in mind. If you have Power Cards that add four weeks to a superstar's contract, sign a new free agent for exactly four weeks under the amount of weeks you'd need to have them until the end of the season.
If budget requires, sign superstars for as many weeks as you can and try not to make the contract expire too close to a PLE. You'll often want plenty of budget to pay for big matches at those events, so you may have an easier time building up budget with Advertising Promos to renew a contract when the time.
