When it was first released earlier this year, the yet to be seen WrestleMania XL arena was one of several rewards bundled into the WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania edition. Most of those extra bonuses were available at launch, but the WrestleMania XL arena was instead targeted for Summer 2024. Thankfully, the latest WWE 2K24 update now makes the latest iteration of this spectacle available to players.
WWE 2K24 Update 1.09 adds WrestleMania XL arena
The wait is finally over, and those looking to right the wrongs or recreate the highs of WrestleMania XL can now do that in WWE 2K24. For those who pre ordered the WWE 2K24 Forty Years of WrestleMania edition, the only thing needed is to properly update the game and ensure you've got all the appropriate DLC downloaded and installed.
If you weren't quite sold on the extras when you bought the game and want to upgrade, players can purchase the Forty Years of WrestleMania Pack separately for $19.99. In addition to the now released WrestleMania XL arena (both daytime and nightime versions), you'll receive the following:
- Gold MyFACTION cards
- Triple H WrestleMania 30 Alternate Attire
- Rhea Ripley WrestleMania 36 Alternate Attire
- "Macho King" Randy Savage WrestleMania 6 Alternate Attire
- Charlotte Flair WrestleMania 33 Alternate Attire
- Rey Mysterio WrestleMania 22 Alternate Attire
The MyFACTION bonuses will be minimal for most players, especially at this stage in the year when there's plenty to unlock in the mode and locker codes are more common, but the attires are a nice option to mix things up in WWE 2K24.
If you haven't yet purchased WWE 2K24, the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition that includes the full $19.99 pack as well as all other paid DLC is currently on sale for just $89.99. While you could technically snag the standard edition on sale for just $52.49, the cost of purchasing all the included DLC separately would be about $85 on top of that standard edition cost. If you want every last bit of WWE 2K24 available to enjoy, the Forty Years of WrestleMania edition while on sale is the way to go.
