WWE 2K24 MyRISE Tips & Tricks to Get Started
The first step to MyRISE is actually making your Create-A-Superstar, and doing them within MyRISE or within the separate WWE 2K24 Creation Suite is entirely up to your personal preference. After making a superstar for MyRISE, you can always export them to the main game roster from the MyRISE save selection menu.
The advantage to making them outside of MyRISE is that you'll have a little more freedom to piece things together. You can more easily take a break to return and finish tweaking the character later on if you wanna jump to Showcase or MyGM. However, the downside is that any changes you make within MyRISE will not be active for the main roster star. You'll have to export again to get any changes updated that you made within MyRISE.
Most of your character choices are entirely up to personal preference, but spending some time in Move-Set will be the most beneficial early on. Try out different moves to see which styles and combos you enjoy most, and try to focus your moves on a specific body part.
If your finisher does body damage, make sure you've got lots of body damage moves. If you're looking to tap people out with a leg submission, you want as many leg-damaging moves as possible. Once everything's in place, it's time to begin your WWE 2K24 MyRISE journey.
MyRISE Storylines & Icons Explained
The majority of your time in MyRISE will see your character go between different storylines. You don't have to talk to every single superstar and engage in every single story, but doing this often helps open up interesting side stories and will net you significantly more attribute upgrade points. The more stories you do, the stronger your character will become.
Usually a Challenge Match will be a one-off with a specific reward or boost associated with that task, but an Optional Story could span several matches. When you reach certain stages in each Must Play Story, you'll often get a Story Gate warning that you won't be able to go back and finish any remaining Optional Stories or Challenge Matches.
You'll also occasionally run into a Decision Branch. You'll still be able to finish MyRISE without issue, but there are achievements and trophies linked to these decisions. Several only pop by choosing one specific path, so any completionists will need to run through MyRISE more than once. Past that, most of your decisions will just be down to what feels right for your WWE 2K24 character.
