World of Warcraft Mobile - Release date, pre-register, game modes, more

It's an exciting time to be a World of Warcraft fan as the game developers recently let players in on the plans for WoW Mobile. The official reveal of World of Warcraft Arclight Rumble showed off some exciting gameplay that will soon be available.

A nice change of pace from normal World of Warcraft gameplay, Arclight Rumble is a mobile action strategy game that features a collection aspect as well. It won't be long before players can jump into the action, so follow along for pre-register and gameplay information.

World of Warcraft Mobile - Game modes

WoW Arclight Rumble was inspired by tower defense games but is described more as a "tower offense" title. Players will use resources to deploy their attackers in various locations on the battlefield, capturing Guard Towers and Meeting Stones en route to conquering the enemy boss.

In the official WoW Mobile showcase, Blizzard Entertainment revealed the different types of game modes that will be available upon release. Along with a massive single-player campaign, head-to-head PvP, and co-op will all be available. Additionally, Blizzard Entertainment will release a new Dungeon every week for even more Arclight Rumble chaos in both co-op and singleplayer style.

World of Warcraft Mobile pre-register and release date information

Perhaps the most important bit from the WoW Mobile showcase, Blizzard Entertainment revealed pre-register information at the end of the video. As stated, a Closed Beta will be coming soon to limited regions around the world.

Unfortunately, there is no hard release date yet set in stone by the game developers, though the pre-register period is now open. Players must head to the WoW Arclight Rumble page and follow the link to pre-register. It will simply ask for your Battlenet login credentials before signing you up for the upcoming beta test.
