With the launch of The War Within Season 1, World of Warcraft (WoW) players can now start working their way through the Mythic+ ranks to earn a tonne of high iLevel gear and compete for seasonal rewards such as coveted titles and mounts.

Mythic+ dungeons are, of course, an endgame challenge meant to push even the best groups of friends and guildmates to their maximum. As with previous WoW seasons, The War Within Season 1 features eight Mythic+ dungeons, four from the current expansion and four from previous expansions. Let's dive in!

Mythic+ Dungeons For The War Within Season 1

It's really quite simple: There are eight dungeons, with four new ones added to the rotation straight from the subterranean world of The War Within. Check them out below.

Ara-Kara, City of Echoes (The War Within)
City of Threads (The War Within)
The Stonevault (The War Within)
The Dawnbreaker (The War Within)
Mists of Tirna Scithe (Shadowlands)
The Necrotic Wake (Shadowlands)
Siege of Boralus (Battle for Azeroth)
Grim Batol (Cataclysm)

On 10 September 2024, Mythic 0 difficulty opened up for these dungeons. On 17 September 2024, Mythic +1 and higher difficulties open up, and you'll be able to earn higher ratings to reap those rewards. Speaking of rewards, let's take a look at the seasonal rewards for earning enough Mythic+ dungeon rating.

WoW Mythic+ War Within Season 1 Rewards

Apart from all the actual loot you'll receive, there are also some achievements and rewards, such as titles and mounts for bragging rights. Check out a list of Mythic+ rewards pertaining to dungeons and your performance in Season 1 below.

Keystone Explorer: Complete a Mythic+ dungeon within the time limit during The War Within Season One.
Keystone Conqueror (The Tempered title reward): Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2000 during The War Within Season One.
Keystone Master (Diamond Mechsuit mount reward): Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2000 during The War Within Season One.
Keystone Hero (Luminous Nerubian Catalyst Stone reward): Attain a Mythic+ Rating of at least 2500 during The War Within Season One.

Apart from these rewards available if you perform well enough in Mythic+ dungeons throughout The War Within Season 1, there's also something special I just have to mention. If you can beat Queen Ansurek (the final boss of the Nerub-ar Palace raid) on Mythic difficulty, there's a chance of getting the Reins of the Ascendant Sureki Skyrazor mount to drop.
