With WoW Dragonflight Season 3, Blizzard unleashed the Amirdrassil, The Dream's Hope raid, and with it, a new world-first Mythic difficulty race commenced. It was an incredibly tough battle between the best guilds in the world to claim the crown in Season 3.
With dozens of hours of raiding and grinding, little sleep, and a whole lot of wipes, two top contenders emerged: the legendary Echo and Team Liquid guilds. Here's who cleared Mythic Amirdrassil first, slaying the final boss, Fyrakk the Blazing.
Which WoW Guild Killed Mythic Fyrakk First?
After a whopping 344 pulls on Mythic Fyrakk, Echo became the first WoW Dragonflight guild to clear the Amirdrassil raid! Congratulations!
With over five days of progression to get Mythic Fyrakk down, it was one of the closest races in recent WoW raiding history. Echo had an early lead over all other guilds in the world, taking the boss down to less than 10% health for the first time. However, with 12 straight days of raiding, the players were too exhausted to continue in the early hours of the morning. Team Liquid then took the lead, getting Fyrakk down to 6.5%, but Echo came back reinvigorated with 1.79% before Team Liquid wiped on 1.72% health remaining.
With both Team Liquid and Echo so close, the latter killed Fyrakk for the first time, claiming the WoW Dragonflight Season 3 raiding crown in impressive fashion.
Echo took to Twitter (sorry, X?) to celebrate their success and massive achievement:
In case you've not been following the world-first race live, this was one of the closest battles in the history of WoW raiding.
Check out the Echo players' reaction when Fyrakk fell as they won the world-first race!
Echo's Meeras also got the first-ever Fyr'alath the Dreamrender Legendary Axe drop, and at the time of writing, is working on the questline to fully unlock this powerful weapon available for Warriors, Death Knights and Paladins.

A big congratulations go out to Echo for becoming the WoW Dragonflight Season 3 raiding champions, clearing Amirdrassil, and edging out Team Liquid for the crown after five days of attempts on Mythic Fyrakk!
