If you're playing World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, or any entry into the WoW franchise, then it's likely that you've accidentally gotten rid of an important item. While this can be frustrating and an easy mistake to make, Blizzard has given players a way to rectify it and get their precious gear back.
You can now restore your items in WoW Dragonsflight, be it a weapon, a piece of armor you've disenchanted, or even an item you've accidentally sold to a vendor. So let's take a look at how you can restore your items in WoW Dragonflight.
How To Restore Items in WoW Dragonflight
Before we jump into the method that you'll need to follow to restore your items, it should be noted that the feature/service from Blizzard that allows us to do so is limited. This means that you can't always restore your items, so you just need to act fast and check whether you can get your item back by following the steps below:
- First, navigate to the official WoW website, then log in to your Battle.net account, and click on the support button in the top right corner.
- In the games section, select WoW, and then click on Item Restoration.
- This will bring up a screen that will begin the item restoration process, so just go ahead and click the "Begin Item Restoration" button.
- Now choose the realm and character that needs to have their item restored.
- This will bring up a list of items you can restore for that character, so choose the ones you want (some of them do have a cost).
- Once done, click on the "Next: Review Item Restoration" button to finish the process.
Once you've followed these steps, the items you restored will be available almost immediately in your mailbox (for the character that owned them, naturally). So be sure to grab them from there once you're done.
Last but not least, players should be aware that there is a "cooldown" period for restoring items in WoW Dragonflight. Once you restore a specific set of items once, you'll need to wait seven days before you can do another restoration.
So be sure to restore your items all at once, and be extra certain you have selected all the items you want since the cooldown can cause some of your items to be lost. But all in all, this process is fairly simple, and you'll easily be able to correct the accidental loss of any of your items in WoW Dragonflight.
