If there's one thing many World of Warcraft (WoW) players might agree on, it is the impact of the great mage, Medivh, on the game and its story. Also known as the "Keeper of Secrets" and the Last Guardian of Tirisfal, Medivh is no doubt an iconic character, and now, you can get the aptly-named Last Guardian transmog items in WoW Dragonflight to pay homage to Medivh.
This guide explains the items in the Last Guardian transmog pack to make your character look like Medivh, alongside the asking price and how you can get these items for free later down the line.
Update on 12 May 2023: We've updated this article with the latest info on how WoW Dragonflight players can get their hands on the Medivh Transmog bundle.
WoW Medivh Transmog Items & Price
First of all, Blizzard is trying something new with the Medivh Transmog set. Instead of releasing them into the Trading Post system for players to earn with Tenders, the developer is first adding them to the item shop so you can purchase them early as part of a "preview" idea. Yes, you will of course, keep the items after purchasing them but do note that they will arrive at the Trading Post sometime in 2023.
- Feathered Drape of the Guardian: This cloak is infused with the lingering essence of Medivh's soul.
- Feathered Cowl of the Guardian: The power of the Last Guardian of Tirisfal is not included with purchase of this stylish hood.
- Standard of the Guardian: A show of gratitude and remembrance of the Councils of Tirisfal past.
For eight (8) Euros via the Battle.net shop, you can get the Last Guardian Medivh items right now as an "early access set." These items leave the shop on 31 May 2023.
How To Get Last Guardian Items For Free in WoW Dragonflight
You can earn the items from the Last Guardian Medivh transmog pack for free later this year via the Trading Post. Blizzard explains:
This month we’re trying something new. We’re previewing some items which will be coming to the Trading Post within the next year. These items will be introduced to the Trading Post no sooner than 3 months after the pack leaves the Shop, however. Similar to items that can be purchased on the Trading Post, the pack will only be available for early purchase for the period of one month.
To be more specific, the Medivh cosmetic items will be released on the Trading Post for players to purchase with in-game currency sometime between 1 September and 31 December 2023 for a one-month period. Therefore, you do not need to open your wallet if you don't want to. These items have no effect on gameplay.
That's everything you need to know about the Last Guardian transmog pack featuring Medivh-inspired cosmetics, from the price to item descriptions and how you can get them for free later in 2023.
