WoW Dragonflight Magmashell: How To Get Fire Snail Mount

Everyone loves to get excellent new mounts in World of Warcraft, and there is a lot of them to discover in Dragonflight. Following the Season 1 update, the latest fire snail mount has finally been found. It is called Magmashell, and citizens of Azeroth will definitely want to get it, so they can show it off in front of one of the capital cities, of course!

How To Get Magmashell Mount in WoW Dragonflight

Getting the fire snail mount called Magmashell isn't easy. First off, you will need to head to the Waking Shores on Dragon Isles. Here, you will need to farm for an Empty Magma Shell item. Alternatively, you can purchase one from the Auction House for around 10,000 gold.

If you are a bit stingy and don't want to spend any Gold on the Empty Magma Shell item, then you can kill Lavaslurper and Basalt Shell mobs. These are found around the river of lava South of the Obsidian Sanctum. The approximate map coordinates are 22,71. Now that you have an Empty Magma Shell in hand comes the hard part, as you will need to withstand lava.

You will now need to fly to Scalecracker Keep, and near the top of the mountain, you will see a large pool of lava. Inside this pool of lava is the Empowered Snail NPC. The coordinates are 71.2, 25.4.

With the Empty Magma Shell in your bags, run into the lava and click on the Empowered Snail NPC to start a channeled cast called Embiggening Snail. This cast lasts 20 seconds, which is where the difficulty comes into play, as most characters might die unless they are accompanied by a healer or can cast a Heal Over Time (HOT) effect on themselves before the process starts. 

There is another way to negate the lava damage in your quest to get the Magmashell mount in WoW Dragonflight. You will need to get your hands on an Everlasting Horn of Lavaswimming. This makes you immune to outdoor lava on Dragon Isles for 10 minutes and has a 30-minute cooldown. Get this toy from Siege of Dragonbane Keep strongboxes.
