The recently introduced Fury Incarnate update in World of Warcraft and Dragonflight brings a wealth of fresh and thrilling content to the Azerothian realm. Among these offerings, a noteworthy addition is the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon. This challenging yet rewarding feature promises numerous treasures for adventurers to claim.
For those preparing to venture into this new dungeon alongside their party, worry not, as we have all the essential information you need. Below, you'll discover a comprehensive breakdown of the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon in WoW. This encompasses its release date, item levels, and the array of bosses that await your encounter.
WoW Dawn of the Infinite Heroic & Mythic: Release Date & Item Level
Even though the update introducing the Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon was implemented on July 11th, 2023, players now have the opportunity to engage in this dungeon with either Heroic or Mythic Difficulty, split into two parts: Galakrond’s Fall and Murozond’s Rise. The exact launch date is yet to be disclosed, as it is aligned with the release of Dragonflight Season 3 later this year. So once the release date for Season 3 is unveiled, we will promptly adjust this information.
The new Heroic mode for Dawn of the Infinite is also accessible via the Group Finder (I), but it mandates a minimum item level of 372 for queueing. The required player level for these added difficulties is level 70, so adequate preparation is advised for the forthcoming battles.
WoW Dawn of the Infinite Heroic & Mythic: Bosses
Speaking of the challenges ahead, both Galakrond’s Fall and Murozond’s Rise will each encompass four bosses, culminating in eight bosses for the complete Dawn of the Infinite dungeon. To assist you in preparing for this journey, here's a quick overview of each boss you will encounter within the respective segments of this two-part mega-dungeon as stated by the developers.
Galakrond’s Fall
Chronikar
Chronikar spent her entire life in service to the infinite dragonflight, making her way up the ranks until she earned the title of commander. Even among the radical infinites, her zealotry is unmatched. As the venerated rearguard, she will stop at nothing to put an end to any who dare oppose her order.
Manifested Timeways
A manifestation of the sands of time itself. This ancient being is always watching, always waiting for the moment when the Timeways are in peril. She was unable to stop the infinite Dragonflight as they crashed their way into the past. Now, faced with more intruders, she refuses to fail a second time.
Blight of Galakrond
These primal dragons were brought back by the necrotic energies dripping from the corpse of Galakrond. Ahnzon is the crackling hunger of the storm. Dazhak the all-consuming gluttony of the flame. Loszkeleth the seeping starvation of the cold. And the heroes of Azeroth are looking like a tasty meal...
Iridikron the Stonescaled
Iridikron is the most powerful of the Primal Incarnates, infused with elemental earth magic. While he wishes to topple the Aspects and rid the world of the titan's influence, his plans to do so are not yet known. Why has he joined forces with the infinite? Whatever the answer, he must be stopped.
Murozond's Rise
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper
With the proper timeline now altered by Murozond's rise, the heroes of Azeroth are faced with many oddities. Chief among them is Titan-Keeper Tyr joining forces with the infinite dragonflight. His legendary loyalty now turned against them, the heroes of Azeroth have no choice but to fight. To win.
Morchie
Morchie is the alternate form of Chromie, created by a timeline where Murozond rose and the infinities reigned supreme. And it so happens that she rather enjoys being part of the proper timeline, and would like to keep it that way. Unfortunately, the heroes of Azeroth keep getting in the way of her plans.
Time-Lost Battlefield
One of the many battles between the Alliance and Horde has bled into the Timeways, and it's up to the Azeroth's heroes to end this time anomaly to continue their journey. But first, they will have to face Grommash Hellscream, one of the Horde's mightiest chieftains. For the Alliance!
Chrono-Lord Deios
At long last, the infinite Dragonflight shall usher in a new dawn for the world of Azeroth. Chrono-Lord Deios has traveled far into the past to ensure that Murozond shall rise. The heroes of Azeroth have already seen him succeed once. This time, can they stop him?
In conclusion, you now possess a thorough breakdown of the release date, difficulty options, and bosses featured in the new Heroic or Mythic Difficulty Dawn of the Infinite Dungeon within WoW Dragonflight. As Season 3 approaches, we will update this information accordingly, so remember to revisit for updates.
