Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will arguably be the first real next-gen game to be released.

The iconic duo, developed by Insomniac Games, is coming exclusively to the PlayStation 5 this June and it will showcase the full potential of Sony's latest console.

Judging by many trailers the game looks simply marvellous, and PlayStation 5 owners will have a chance to enjoy something we are sure will become a true classic.

With only 10 days left until the release, fans can not hide their excitement and can't wait to start playing the game.

If you want to be ready to play the game immediately upon the release these few things will help you get prepared.

As we have already mentioned, the game releases exclusively for the PS5.

The download size of version 01.000.007 is 33.618 GB, which mean you will have to have at least 35 GB available on your drive for the installation.

Not as big as some of the latest AAA games, especially given that it is the first true next-gen game.

How to pre-load Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart: PS5 preloading times

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will become available for pre-load on 4th June at midnight, local time zone.

When the preload becomes available, if you preordered Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, it will appear in your collection of PlayStation games.

• From the PlayStation home screen, open your library.
• Select "Purchased" games.
• Find Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and select it.
• If the game is available for preload, the "Download" button will be available just below the icon of the game.
• Just push the Download button and that's it, your PlayStation will start downloading Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.
• Make sure that the console is on or in standby mode while the game is being downloaded or you will interrupt the process.
