Gears Tactics, from The Coalition and Splash Damage, is set to release on 28th April 2020 on PC. From what we've seen so far, it is a surprisingly deep, turn-based, XCOM-style tactical title.
Gears Tactics is, of course, set in the Gears of War universe. If you're a fan of the franchise, then you need to know if your gaming rig has what it takes.
First up, you won't need a monster gaming rig to play Gears Tactics. In fact, the developers made sure the game runs well across many device configurations, including Intel's upcoming Intel Xe graphics architecture.
Instead of just giving a minimum and recommended system requirements, the developers went all out, taking into consideration a wide range of hardware.

As you can see, you don't need a monster gaming PC to enjoy Gears Tactics. It is nice to see the developer add recommended laptop specifications into the mix as well.
Gears Tactics, for those who don't know yet, follows Gabriel "Gabe" Diaz (yes, the father of Kait Diaz) who is on a mission to hunt down the leader of the Locust army. You will recruit, command, and equip your squad in this character-driven story in late April.
The game features turn-based, aggressive gameplay, with a fully customizable squad as well as equipment, and excitingly, large boss battles.
The game will be available on Steam, Windows 10 PC and Xbox Game Pass for PC when it launches on 28th April 2020. With the Gears Tactics PC system requirements, you can now plan ahead, and give your gaming rig an upgrade if you need to.
