VCT EU Stage 2 Challengers 1: Schedule, teams, format, results, more

We are back! Yes, European Valorant fans can once again watch their teams in action as Valorant Champions Tour roars on with Stage 2 Challengers 1.

After the qualifiers last week (why can we not watch these by the way? The lack of stream is just undefendable in 2021) we have our eight contenders. On the line some big prizes, with €35,000 up for grabs and two places in the Challengers Final where teams will ultimately battle it out for a place in Masters Reykjavík to be held in June.

But before that, we have this. Eight of the best teams in Europe, including the return of Stage 1 Masters' champions Acend, who will look to prove their not a one-hit-wonder as they go up against the likes of FunPlus Phoenix, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Team Heretics.

Schedule

It should be noted that, as of Stage 2, 'Europe' is combined with Turkey and the CIS regions to make EMEA.

For the purposes of this article, we will be covering the European leg of Stage 2. Turkey and CIS host their own Challengers events before the best from the three regions compete for the Challengers Final title which we will cover closer to time.

Eight teams will take part in Challengers 1, all earning their place through last week's open qualifiers, they are:

• Guild Esports
• Ninja in Pyjamas
• Team Heretics
• Team Vitality
• Opportunists
