VCT Ascension Pacific 2024 which was originally announced to be held in Tokyo, Japan has been now moved to Jakarta, Indonesia due to production delays and tournament quality concerns. Apart from this, the event will now take place from September 20 to 29, as per the official announcement by Riot Games.

However, to make up for the location change, Riot will be hosting live watchparties in Japan and the details for them will be shared soon.
The team has also made some positive changes to the format, making it more straight-forward. VCT Ascension Pacific will now follow 10 team double elimination bracket unlike earlier, where they had to go through a confusing Group Stage and then a single elimination bracket in Playoffs.
The brackets will be shared by Riot at a later date and we will update you accordingly on our website.
