The world of VALORANT is set to be opened up to millions of more potential gamers with the tactical shooter set to release on mobile devices.
VALORANT Mobile - an entirely new entry in the franchise - will feature the same "same competitive VALORANT experience" seen on PC, though how they will translate that experience to mobile is not yet clear.
"One of our top goals this first year was to earn the trust and respect of the global FPS community, and to prove to them that VALORANT will always uphold the fundamentals of a truly worthwhile competitive tac-shooter,” said Anna Donlon, Executive Producer of VALORANT at Riot Games. “To see our growing player community recognize and appreciate what we’re trying to do with VALORANT is beyond what we could’ve expected and we’re thrilled to soon offer the same competitive VALORANT experience to even more global players.”
Riot Games have yet to reveal when the title will launch, announcing it as the game celebrates its one-year anniversary and 14 million monthly players.

Rumour of such a title was rife, with data miners discovering files within the game's code that pointed to the developers - at the very least - exploring how a tactical shooter like Valorant could be played on mobile.
How Riot will accomplish this - if that is the goal at all - is not yet clear, though, after the success of Wild Rift, the mobile version of their hugely popular League of Legends game, you wouldn't bet against them.
