While there's already a whole lot to get excited about for Valorant players with the v2.09 update, it appears Riot Games is planning a new skin collection called "Minima", taking a minimalistic approach to weapon skin designs, as the name might suggest. Thanks to a Dev Talk video shared by aSmoogl, captain of Team Fordzilla, we now have our first look at the Minima Skin Collection coming to Valorant.
Valorant Minima Skin Collection
Let's get straight into it, the Valorant Minima Skin Collection looks both futuristic and minimalistic. It is likely that not everyone will love the Minima Skin Collection, however, it does seem quite unique when compared to Riot's flashy Valorant skin lines of the past.
In a Dev Talk video posted to YouTube by aSmoogl, the Valorant devs show off several Minima skins coming to the game. Images below captured from the video.

In the video, a Riot developer explains: "For Minima, we wanted this feel like it kinda met that minimalistic vibe in terms of shape language, materials. It shouldn't be anything flashy.
"We do put some visual interest on such as the tech lines that are very slow-moving and ambient, just to add a little bit of visual interest across the surface so it doesn't feel so plain as the base weapon."
Ultimately, Riot Games wants the Minima Skin Collection to feel simple and clean.
