Sunset is the new map coming to Valorant in Episode 7 Act 2, taking the map count to 10 in the game, and is set in a neon sunset environment. The map's gameplay will be focussed on taking the mid-control and will feature two bomb sites. It will be available for you to play on August 29; however, it will only be available in Swiftplay mode for a week. Sunset Map is located in Los Angeles, which is also the home of Gekko, and features several LA cultural staples, including food trucks, art deco and mission style architecture, traffic, a neon sunset, and graffiti spotlighting a few local artists. Since Riot only keeps a total of seven maps in the competitive and unrated modes, to accommodate it into the competitive and unrated queues along with the returning map Breeze, Riot will remove Fracture and Pearl from the pool.
