Can Sentinels Still Qualify For VCT Americas Playoffs

VCT Americas League 2023 is in full swing, in which the partnered teams are battling against each other for a slot in the playoffs. While LOUD and Cloud9 have already booked a slot for themselves, other teams still have a few matches to play before we get the final list of the top six qualified teams. 

Amongst these, the competition for the sixth rank has been extremely high among Evil Geniuses, 100 Thieves, and Sentinels. At the moment, Evil Geniuses, Sentinels, and 100 Thieves are sitting at four wins each.

Can Sentinels Still Qualify For VCT Americas League Playoffs

In short, Sentinels can't qualify for VCT Americas League Playoffs 2023.

The best possible scenario for Sentinels to qualify for playoffs was to beat KRÜ Esports by 2-0 and Evil Geniuses losing against NRG by 2-0. While NRG won the series by 2-0, Sentinels failed to do their job as they won the series by 2-1. 

In this case, they needed Evil Geniuses to beat NRG, Leviatán to beat LOUD, and MIBR to beat 100 Thieves. However, NRG won against EG, and thus, Sentinels couldn't qualify under this scenario as well.
