After a successful beta testing, Riot has finally released Valorant console officially in North America, Europe, Japan, and Brazil for both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 players. It is a surprise announcement as it hasn't been long since the game was confirmed for beta testing.

Talking about the recently finished Limited Beta, Arnar Gylfason, Production Director of VALORANT at Riot Games said, "We’ve received so much valuable feedback from players during Limited Beta, and feel confident to deliver on our gameplay promise for console players. Whether it's hitting that perfect shot, executing a flawless team play, or wiping out the enemy team, we look forward to seeing console players experience the same gameplay thrill as Valorant PC players."
With this release, your console ranks will also get reset and this is to remove the inconsistences across the ranks that Riot noticed during the limited beta. Apart from this, you might also notice that your rank is lower than before after you play placement games and this is to even out the population across different ranks.
