The Valheim Hearth & Home update is finally here to the delight of the game's army of players around the world.
The first major update for the popular Viking survival RPG brings a raft of new content and features, including new mechanics, furniture, building pieces, food, weapons, optimizations and much more.
Asides from the new content, Hearth & Home brings a slew of improvements and changes as well, particularly many features and addition which were highly requested by the community.
Iron Gate has listened to player feedback and delivered a set of new features based on that feedback, including the ability to share map data with other Vikings in your world, find seeds to plant more types of trees, and probably the most requested feature - the ability to destroy your unwanted items with the new Obliterator!
Yup, the Obliterator will now obliterate anything you want and remove it from the game. If you can't wait to start shredding things out of existence, here's how to make an Obliterator in Valheim Hearth & Home.
How to craft Obliterator in Valheim and destroy items
The Obliterator is a new type of crafting object that you can add to your house and which will permanently destroy any items you don't want.
In order to craft it, you will have to have the following materials:
- Iron x 8
- Copper x 4
- Thunder Stone x 1
In addition, you will have to have a Forge crafted as well, as a prerequisite to be able to build an Obliterator.
Once you met all these conditions, simply open your hammer menu, go to the crafting tab, select the Obliterator icon, and then choose where you want to place your Obliterator. And that's it, now you have your very own destruction machine!
To destroy any items you want to get permanently rid of just, just click on it, open your inventory, select any items you don't need and put them into the Obliterator. They will not be destroyed immediately, but over time, depending on the type of items.
