Valheim was a game that took the internet by storm in 2021. Although the game remains in Early Access, there is a dedicated fanbase to the game that is constantly discovering new ways to build and expand in this world for Vikings. But it is not just about building in Valheim, there are also monsters out there that players need to be on the lookout for.
One example of these monsters is known as the Seekers. Seekers are a new monster that was introduced during the Mistlands update of Valheim. Although they are a common enemy, they can be very difficult to kill if you do not know what you are doing. Here, we are going to go over the weaknesses of Seekers so you can prepare for your trip to the Mistlands.
What Are Seekers Weak To In Valheim?
The Mistlands added a lot of new content to the game. There are several new food items, crafting items, and so much more in the Mistlands. One thing that players need to prepare for is the new enemies, such as the Seekers. Seekers are large insects that have flying variations as well. One thing players will notice is that physical damage like slashes, pierce, and blunt do very little damage to them.
Players will have to use elemental damage to take down Seekers. Damage from weapons that deal fire, frost, poison, or lightning damage will do the trick. Some of the best weapons to take down seekers are staffs like the Staff of Frost, or the Staff of Embers will do the trick. The Draugr Fang Bow with elemental arrows will also be effective as well. Just remember that Seekers are actually immune to Spirit damage, so do not attempt to use it.
How To Beat Seekers In Valheim
Using the elements is the key strategy for dealing actual damage to Seekers. Players should use elemental weapons to deal the most amount of damage to Seekers as possible. If players want to beat Seekers, they need to attack them from behind. Attacking them from the front will lower the amount of damage you do.
Players should attack from behind and try to keep their distance when Seekers are about to attack. That is because Seekers can knock the players back with their attacks which could lead to disastrous results if they are fighting near a cliff. That is why Staffs or the Draugr Fang Bow are highly recommended for taking down Seekers in Valheim.
