The Last Of Us television show did not air an episode for the first time this week because season 1 is officially over. The Last of Us is possibly one of the best video game adaptations into a television show ever seen. The show was loved by a broad audience, even those who do not play video games.
Season 2 of The Last Of Us is currently under development everyone is dying to know more details about what is to come. Seasons 2 and 3 will occur during the events of The Last Of Us Part 2. That means one character that should be coming to the television series is someone by the name of Abby. Just recently, Abby was all but confirmed that she is going to appear in The Last of Us television show.
Abby Teased To Appear In HBO's The Last Of Us
The Last Of Us Part 2 is about double the length of The Last of Us Part 1. The main reason for this is the fact that the second game actually has two main protagonists. The first main protagonist is Ellie and the second is a new character named Abby Anderson. Her presence is very important in The Last Of Us Part 2 and she is all but confirmed to show up for the second season.
Neil Druckmann, one of the main developers for The Last Of Us, sent out the tweet above. This tweet shows a hammer being held on what looks like a very muscular arm. In some of the official art for The Last Of Us Part 2, Abby is seen holding a hammer like the one in the tweet. So, this definitely teases that Abby will be in Season 2 of HBO's The Last Of Us.
Will Abby Be In Season 2 Of The Last Of Us?
It is almost 100% guaranteed that Abby will show up during Season 2 of The Last Of Us. There are a couple of reasons for this. As we have said, Abby is one of the main playable protagonists for The Last Of Us Part 2. The story of the second game does not exist without Abby, so it would be ridiculous to exclude her. Another reason is the teaser shown off by Neil Druckmann. It would be unusual to not have Abby in the show after that teaser.
But it depends on how HBO wants to show off the second game. There could be circumstances in which Abby does not appear until the end of Season 2 of the TV show. But we will have to wait and see what HBO has planned for the Season 2 of the television show.
