Following two years of virtual events, the annual pop culture extravaganza, San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), is returning in July 2022 in front of a live crowd. This year, hosted at the legendary San Diego Convention Center, brings together the biggest studios and networks to showcase their current and upcoming projects.

With the convention promising to be one of their largest to date, there's a great variety of panels to look forward to. This event guide will break down everything you need to know about SDCC, including starting dates and time, best panels, and how to watch from home.

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 – Schedule

This year's San Diego Comic-Con promises to entertain audiences with all the significant panel discussions and hall events throughout the convention. The annual pop culture extravaganza begins on 20th July 2022 and concludes on 24th July 2022.

The convention features several notable panels across the five-day event, starting with a preview event on 20th July 2022. However, if you're not in attendance, there are ways to get caught up on the latest news, announcements, and more through their official social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram.

While there may be many incredible fan experiences and activations to look forward to, thousands of attendees hope to secure their seats at some of the highly-anticipated panels at SDCC 2022. Some of these panels will cover various media, including film, television, and gaming; live broadcasts for a few panels will be available on multiple channels.

San Diego Comic-Con 2022 – How to watch

For five days, various publications will host separate live broadcasts of SDCC 2022 from the San Diego Convention Center. While the organizers won't be livestreaming the entire event, a few panels will be available for global audiences to watch.

Marvel Entertainment will post up-to-the-minute announcements on its social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. You watch the live broadcasts daily from the official Marvel website and their official channels on YouTube and Twitch starting at 1 pm PT/4 pm ET on 21st-23rd July 2022 and at 11 am PT/2 pm ET on 24th July 2022.

As of writing, it's undetermined whether several Warner Bros. Panels will be livestreamed, including their theatrical showcase for the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) and the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon.

While we can expect more news and updates in the lead-up to SDCC 2022, we can see possible changes to the event line-up before the convention starts. Likewise, we must note that we will endeavor to provide more updates once more reliable information is available.
