A new teaser for Season 4 of Stranger Things – entitled “Eleven, are you listening” – has been released online, and suggests that things aren’t going well for Millie Bobby Brown’s character.
The trailer plays out in an austere institution, much like the one Eleven was brought up in. A group of children – in hospital gowns, with shaved heads – are playing games and doing puzzles. Martin Brenner – played by Matthew Modine – walks down a corridor and into the room, where he tells the kids that he has something very special planned for them.
The camera then pans to a door with the number 11 on it, and Brenner can be heard saying “Eleven, are you listening” followed by a tight close-up of Millie Bobby Brown’s eyes opening.
It’s the first footage we’ve seen from the show since a February 2020 trailer revealed that Hopper is alive and well in Russia, if not looking altogether happy.
The fourth season of Stranger Things is set to hit Netflix later this year, with Jamie Campbell Bower (The Twilight Saga), Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) and Joseph Quinn (Game of Thrones) all joining the cast.
