Stardew Valley To Receive New Content As Part Of Update

It's been just over seven years since Stardew Valley was released, yet the game is still getting consistent updates. Now, a new update will be adding new content to the game. 

According to the creator of Stardew Valley, Stardew Valley 1.6 contains:

• New festival
• New items
• More dialogues
• Secrets
• ???

Previous Stardew Valley updates have introduced substantial amounts of new content, so it'll be interesting to see exactly how much content Stardew Valley 1.6 actually adds. We already know that we can expect 1.6 to focus on user modding, allowing fans to make content for the game in perpetuity. 

Regardless, fans on Twitter are extremely excited about the prospect of new content, with one stating:

"OMG, I thought it was over and we had to wait for chocolate", referring to the fan name for user-generated content in a game, with another saying "it makes me so happy you're still updating this wonderful game"
