Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga features many unique and galactic collectables players can collect by travelling across the galaxy. However, these collectables often go amiss in playing the events from all three Star Wars trilogies.
Taking a break from playing through the campaign and side missions can be rewarding as it gives you time to locate these in-game collectables. Data cards play a significant role in that regard as they can allow you to unlock menu cheats if you have enough Studs to acquire them.
This galactic guide explains how to use data cards in unlocking menu cheats and what cheats you can unlock in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga.
How to use data cards in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga?
Datacards are the game's version of the iconic bricks players collected in previous Lego games. Likewise, they can be utilised in various ways similar to the bricks, but there are some differences.
Datacards not only allow you to unlock various perks like increased Studs but can be used together with Studs to unlock menu cheats. These menu cheats, once unlocked, can either unlock fun gameplay mechanics or acquire cosmetic items and collectables.
There are 20 menu cheats you can unlock in exchange for Studs and data cards, which you can start grinding. However, since it does require Studs, you will find yourself having to replay various campaigns and side missions that reward you with plenty of Studs.
Accessing the option to unlock these menu cheats can be done through the game's menu, which we have detailed in this guide. While it's unknown if this is the final list of all menu cheats available in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga, we will update this article once more information becomes available.
How to use menu cheats in Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga?
Players looking to utilise cheats in the Lego Star Wars The Skywalker Saga can do so through two methods. The first method is by accessing the Holoprojector menu either by pressing the Xbox view button or the PlayStation touchpad.
You can select the Extras tab from this menu before choosing the "Enter Code" option. The other method is by accessing the Pause menu and locating the "Enter Code" option.
Either method will allow you to enter a cheat code which will then be accepted, and you will be alerted to which reward or perk it unlocks. Likewise, you'll only need to use the cheat code once to acquire the item or perk, which in some cases, can be disabled from the Extras tab within the Holoprojector menu.
To unlock these menu cheats requires data cards and Studs, the game's main currency. We have already detailed the locations of all data cards to be collected across the three trilogies, with Studs being readily easy to obtain.
We recommend unlocking all the Studs cheats and cheats that require higher Studs. These menu items change the gameplay experience by adding fun features or gameplay mechanics for some comic relief.
