Pre-registering for this interactive experience is as simple as downloading an app.

Here's how to pre-register for Ascension:

1. Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Find "SILENT HILL: Ascension," developed by Genvid Entertainment.
3. Click "install."

For now, that's all you'll have to do. This will automatically install Silent Hill: Ascension as soon as it's available on Halloween night. Then, you can open up the app, watch the first week's episode, and input your vote for how the story should go.

It's totally free to pre-register for the game and download it, as well as to participate in the voting. However, there will be "optional in-app purchases" - though it's unclear as to what those will be.
