Can Spritzee Be Shiny In Pokémon GO?

After recently debuting the Test Your Mettle event featuring Steel-type Pokémon, Niantic is back again with another enjoyable occasion. This time Pokémon GO Trainers will get to participate in the Pokémon GO Safari Zone event, taking place in Goyang, Korea, and later, Taipei, Taiwan. During this event, Trainers can catch various event-exclusive Pokémon.

Spritzee will be available during Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Goyang, which takes place from 23rd to 25th September 2022 at Ilsan Lake Park, Korea. But for Trainers that can’t hop on a plane and fly over to this event, there will be a free global limited-time research mission featuring Spritzee to commemorate the start of Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Goyang. 

Can Pokémon GO Trainers Catch A Shiny Spritzee?

The Pokémon GO Safari event allows Trainers to go around Niantic’s designated areas worldwide and partake in special missions while catching various Pokémon, some with exclusive outfits that are only acquirable during the occasion.

Pokémon GO Safari Zone: Goyang will feature a global limited-time research event that any Trainer can complete. The completion reward will be an encounter with the Fairy-type Pokémon, Spritzee.

For those looking to get lucky, there will be a Shiny variation of Spritzee available during the exclusive research event.

For the first time, Trainers will finally get to catch Shiny Spritzee. But like all Shiny Pokémon, Trainers might need to cross their fingers and hope for the best since the chance of coming across one is pretty slim.
