New Pokémon Snap: How to snap Diancie & secret location

New Pokémon Snap hides many unique Pokémon all around the Lental region, and some are not so easy to find, including Diancie.

This rock/fairy Mythical Pokémon was first introduced in Generation VI and it is one of over 200 Pokémon whose photos you can take in the game.

Diancie is not quite easy to find in New Pokémon Snap, but don't worry, that's why we have this guide for you!

New Pokémon Snap - How to find Diancie

In order to find Diancie, you will have to visit Outway Cave, a dark cavern with a lot of ice-type Pokémon which can be found on Durice island.

Given that it is below the ground, Outway Cave doesn't have day and night versions, but it features a special Illumina Spot.

There are many different Pokémon inside the cave and they all have their own unique requirements and things you need to do to make them appear, but when it comes to Diancie, you will simply need to find its special hidden location.

Once you enter the cave from the map of the Lental region, you should immediately start diving to the passage on the left just beneath you. Once you are on the other side, you will see another passage further down with stalagmites.

Pass through it and look below you, where you will see an underwater stream. Start moving towards it and at one point you will notice something like a patch of light on the cave's cold-dark surface.

Get closer to it and a scan will reveal that a large open area that was previously unknown, and that's exactly where you need to go. Once you enter there, you will quickly notice Diancie and now all you need to do is to start taking photos and that's it!
